Public Arts Strategy

Public Art has a vital role to play in regenerating our towns and cities.  It helps to enhance local distinctiveness, provides competitive advantage and adds to a centre’s overall vibrancy.

Public Art consultants Gingko Projects Ltd were appointed by the URC in 2005 to undertake an audit of public art in the URC area and to prepare a strategy, which would ‘dovetail’ with the work of Terence O’Rourke on the Regeneration Framework.
